Trained as a classical pianist, NYC singer/songwriter Morris merges genres in her distinct style she calls “jazzbo,” based in jazz, rock, folk, world, experimental and theater. As a featured vocalist/keyboardist she toured worldwide with Joe Jackson on his epic Heaven and Hell tour. Other notable artists she has worked with are Cy Coleman, Rebecca Pidgeon, Tan Dun, Ronnie Spector, Peter, Paul & Mary and author Harlan Ellison to name a few. As a lyricist she penned lyrics for jazz greats Pat Metheny and Charlie Haden. She has collaborated with choreographers, fine artists and filmmakers to create imaginative underscores.
