Brad Billmaier is an active performer and educator based in the Ohio/Michigan area. Brad has shared the stage with the likes of late jazz virtuoso Vic Juris, NYC alto saxophonist David Bixler, Detroit jazz/blues pianist Alvin Waddles, and many others. He regularly performs with the area’s top talent at the region’s most respected venues. His debut album, “Starless” features some of southeast Michigan’s best and most in-demand jazz musicians. The album features various iterations of the six performers (quintets, quartets, and “chordless”) drawing upon fusion, bebop, and free jazz to bring an organic and lively sound to Brad’s compositions.
