‘Time Without Disasters’ is the debut EP of Tangerine.
It was born out of sporadic musical encouters which led to the creation of this album.
Time spent with this music is a “Time Without Disasters” – a precious point in time in which music takes the lead, putting all life’s horrors and fears aside, immersing us all into a peaceful yet wild musical fantasy, even if just for a short moment.
Tangerine is a duo of pianist Danielle Friedman (Berlin) and saxophonist Aviv Noam (Amsterdam). The two instrumentalists create a unique and distinct sound palette, influenced by their love of Avant-Garde Jazz and improvisation, Western Classical music and Middle Eastern flavors. When the two collide, their music is as intimate and expressive as it is dynamic, spiced with sprinkles of humor.
