Trombonist Nelson Hinds is a talented instrumentalist, composer and arranger. He toured internationally with the Woody Herman Orchestra and was later on tour with the Chuck Mangione Orchestra, Natalie Cole in the US and blues singer Johnny Adams in Europe. He was a featured soloist with the Terence Blanchard Quintet at the Telluride Jazz Festival and has performed with many divergent groups including Gerry Mulligan, Queen Ida, Stevie Wonder, Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, Maria Schneider with the Creative Music Works and the Colorado Symphony.
