Trained as a classical pianist from an early age, Sam has spent the past several years immersed in jazz. Since beginning lessons with Ryan Frane, Director of Jazz Studies at University of Minnesota Duluth, he has become a pivotal member of many performing groups and regional camps. He plans to continue his music education at Berklee College of Music starting in the fall of 2019.
