One of two inaugural releases on AGS Recordings, the new guitar-centric label launched by Alternative Guitar Summit’s founder, guitarist/composer/writer Joel Harrison with guitarist/composer Anthony Pirog. The album Guitar Talk is a collection of intimate guitar duet recordings featuring some of the planet’s finest jazz players. Ben Monder, Steve Cardenas, Pete McCann, David Gilmore, and bassist Steve Swallow join Harrison on his nine original compositions; Harrison solos on two cover tunes. The album bears the same name as Harrison’s new book on Terra Nova Press: Guitar Talk: Interviews with Visionary Players.
