Johannes Faber was born in Munich in 1952 and studied trumpet and composition in Munich, Graz and Boston.
He is a recognized solo trumpeter, composer and arranger, as well as founder of the rock jazz formation CONSORTIUM with Billy Cobham dr, Christof Lauer sax, Joerg Reiter p and Dave King b and has played among others with Chaka Khan, Anthony Jackson, George Adams and Mal Waldron.
