Performer, pianist, composer and band leader Diane Roblin has lead and played with many diverse groups from rock to renowned avant-garde improviser Charles Gayle. World music, jazz improvisation, as well as the Ornette Coleman/Karl Berger workshop and the Dutch Improv Academy have influenced her original compositions which explore various genres and encourage enthusiastic improvising – exciting for both the musicians and the audience.
