David Ecker is a jazz pianist and composer currently based in Brooklyn, NY. While heavily influenced by greats such as Keith Jarrett and Brad Mehldau, he is also inspired by film – particularly the way in which scores can often serve as a situation’s most reliable and emotive narrator. “Song’s From The Other Day” is David’s debut LP as well as his first trio recording, and was recorded at Figure 8 studios with Ryan Lakritz on bass and Joe Spinelli on drums.
