Jason Tiemann is a seasoned drummer and rising star on the New York City jazz scene. He has learned the craft and grown, primarily on the bandstand through musical collaborations and mentorship from master musicians such as the late Harold Mabern, Benny Golson and Mike LeDonne, to contemporary musical interactions with modern greats such as Eric Alexander, Peter Bernstein Steve Davis and Javon Jackson etc. His new recording, T-MAN will be available on Feb 11, 2020, featuring Ed Cherry on guitar and Kyle Koehler Hammond B3. Tiemann teaches at the Jackie McLean institute at the University of Hartford (Hartt School).
